Valentine's Day story. (2016)
How I learnt my zero expectation.
Slept off on the 13th night hoping for a wonderful Valentine's Day, ? feeling very optimistic that the day will be so bright and refreshing.I had just four gift for four important people in my life at that moment black girl prom dresses ? My boss, my bf ? , and my lady boss and then my back to back who was an intern with me.
So I just expected four gift back ? ,as usual.
Had my bath. Got dressed,did a light makeup and got on the bus to work.
On getting to work I saw alot of funny eyes' you know when people look at you like, what is she even feeling like' ? some where like this girl is hot and really cool to have such admirers ? ..so I quietly ignored the gossips and walked further to my work station. My desk was filled with gifts ? . Then I looked to the right I saw my lady boss smiling. ? I then wondered where they all came from.
First person I thought of my was bf. ? Maybe he came to the office ? first so I sat down. Prayed as usual ? . Changed to my ppe ? .and then started opening the gifts.
I cant recall for security reasons ? all the gifts but from five different people that wasn't in my budget or my four important people ? ranging from jewelries,perfumes,cards,foreign currencies, e.t.c
I had goose pimples all over me ? ?
I packed all the gifts into a bag. I was just giggling all through and I was just imagining what was going through people minds. ?
I don't care either ?
